Say “Good Bye” to your 9 to 5 Job and Start Blogging

Many people dream of being able to earn a living by blogging from home. It can be done, but it takes time and a lot of work. Start with a plan, and some patience, and you can be a full-time blogger.

Mike Allton‘s insight:

Are you interested in blogging for a living?

If so, there’s a lot to learn and adopt into your daily workflow – social media, SEO, advertising, research… just to name a few. But getting started, often the hardest part for people, isn’t as hard as you might think. It takes time and some investment, but the good news is that there are a bevy of tools and resources available to you.

In today’s guest post, Adam Prattler walks us through the initial steps that new bloggers need to go through to get started with their blogs.

It’s an overview, so if you’re just getting started yourself, I would love to hear where you’re at in the process, and where you still have questions and challenges. Perhaps you’re struggling to decide on a topic and scope for your blog, or maybe you have questions about the writing itself.

Please share your questions and challenges in the comments below, and if I can’t answer and help you, I’ll ping someone who can!

Thanks, and have a great Friday!
